Recruitment Type: Qualification and Procedure

NABARD makes recruitment for different types of posts every year and changes its selection process as per requirement.

There are two types of examinations conducted by NABARD which are Grade A and Grade B officer.

 

Qualification for Grade A and Grade B

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks or Master’s Degree in the related sector with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate (relaxation in % for SC/ST/PWDC candidates).

 

Minimum and Maximum Age:

 

For Grade A

Minimum- 21 years
Maximum- 35 years

For Grade B

Minimum- 21 years
Maximum- 35 years

Note:- There is some age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC applicants.

 

Procedure:

  • You can apply for both types of examinations through the internet by filling the form.
  • There is a fixed amount of application form for each category of applicant which can be made through internet banking.

Exam Pattern:

There is a common exam pattern for both types of recruitment. NABARD exam is conducted in three phases.

  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Mains Examination
  3. Interview

The preliminary examination consists of an objective type paper which include Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General English, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, Social & Economic Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development comprising 200 marks in 2 hours.

The Mains examination consists of both online objective paper and descriptive paper. These are held in three phases including General English, Economic and social issues, and Financial/Statistics/Economic Development Management respectively with 100 marks for each in 3 hours 10 minutes (90*3).

After clearing the mains exam the candidate is called for the Interview process.
Applicants are selected on the basis of cut-off marks.
